Asif Mangera

Asif is an executive manager for a not-for-profit organisation based in Newham that provides services to the education sector.

Within his role, he is responsible for the strategic direction of the business, partnerships and joint ventures. His role is also responsible for ICT, Data Compliance and School Support services. Asif pioneered moving Newham schools to cloud-based technologies from 2016 onwards paving the way for effective online learning. In 2020, he successfully launched a health and safety service utilising a technology platform through a partner organisation. Asif joined The Education Space from Islington council in 2016 and has held technology leadership roles within public and private organisations for over 15 years. Asif spent his childhood years living and going to school in the Forest Gate area. His current role working with schools within Newham provides an opportunity to collaborate further on community initiatives and build long-lasting partnerships with Aston Mansfield.
