Francis Bray

Francis is the Executive Headteacher at UTCN, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his previous roles. He was previously the Headteacher at Waterside Academy, where he achieved remarkable progress, transforming the school's results from -0.20 in 2022 to 0.77 in 2023, making Waterside Academy the 47th most improved school in the country and the most improved in Hackney. Before that, Francis served as Deputy Headteacher at Forest Gate Community School from 2019 to 2022, where the school was rated Outstanding under the latest EIF framework in 2020. His extensive leadership experience spans across schools in Croydon, Tower Hamlets, Islington, Newham, and now Hackney.
