Waterside Academy is an ambitious small school in Hackney, East London

We are a small and close-knit community where staff want students to succeed. We want to give students the best possible chance of fulfilling their dreams through academic success. As a small school we know our students exceptionally well. We have small class sizes, high staff to student ratio and early intervention for all students who may need extra support. 

Our school values of CARE, CHALLENGE, CONFIDENCE and COURTESY play a key role in everything we do. We have high expectations of students, our students are polite, courteous and they work hard in lessons. We have a clear and ambitious vision to provide the highest-quality education for our students and to become the first choice secondary school for parents in Hackney.
